Monterey Turflon Ester Herbicide
Users say:
This product is difficult to use and can be expensive, but it is effective in killing off a variety of weeds. It is recommended to apply it regularly during the spring and summer periods to keep Bermuda grass, crabgrass, and other pesky weeds in check. It also weakens the roots of crabgrass plants, but can be pulled more easily when time has had time to work.

Monterey Turflon Ester Herbicide is a selective post-emergent herbicide that is recommended for the control of actively growing bermudagrass, kikuyugrass, and broadleaf weeds in cool season turfgrasses such as fescue, ryegrass, and bluegrass. To use, apply during warm weather, from early spring through fall, when weeds are actively growing. Broadleaf weeds germinate at different times. Only emerged weeds present at the time of application will be controlled. When making applications to mature plants or hard to control species, use higher rates of the herbicide. Application during drought conditions may provide less than desirable results.
